Hello there again !

I know I truly am a slacker these days aren't I !!!!

So much has changed since I became a single mama it has made life crazy !!!! To say the least...

Anyways I will be starting to get back into this because it was something I enjoyed & somehow kept me sane, even if everyone groaned over my terrible photography skills !

I wanted to re-hash an old post from the old Blog HERE cause I wanna expand on this a tad in my next post that I promise shall come in the coming days rather than sometime next year. Because I am finding more & more this idea of what a perfect home we as mums should keep whether a stay at home or working mama. Sometimes is possibly the pressure society as a whole puts upon us but I also think we ourselves are our worst critics.

So feel free to gasp & tut-tut looking at it ... Yikes it's worse than that at this exact moment ... YES WORSE !!! Oh dear !!! But yanno what my boys & I after spending a morning of running errands spent time at the park, had a hot choc & juice together, chatted about all the items we could think of that had spikes, spots & stripes, picked dandelions & just enjoyed each others company ... A far greater way to spend my time than worrying about keeping a show home. These are the moments I will treasure & I hope they will too.

It's been a while ...

So much has been happening that I just decided to let this fall by the way side ... Very sad indeed !!!!

So I am now currently listing some of my stuff on Apple Cart ... Tis all very new & all the photos are still being done by me & my photographic inabilities so I really must work on this !

Especially when this photo truly does show my inability ... How about using the flash there Ally yanno poor light & all that ... D'oh !!!!

Oh well the thing that matters is I try right ... RIGHT ????????   :D

I had this huge realisation the other day that now that this house is 'mine' I can decorate etc how I want ... Awesome !!!! No more pandering to someone elses needs or making sure they are happy with colours etc ... AWESOME !!!!

Have a few things in progress the above being a small part, 'EAT' will go in my kitchen & I got some gorgeous new Robert Kaufman fabric which will be used to make new curtains for the windows :

Lots more to change along with a Sewing Room that is being totally changed because I need a better set up !

Will do a separate post for the mess that it started out as & what it became LOL then the changes I slowly make in the coming weeks !

This is a library bag made as part of a birthday gift for one of Mr McBoof's friends



The rest of the gift ... The damned pencil roll I made, seriously stupid idea choosing a pack of pencils that had nearly every bluddy shade available !!! 25 slots from memory ... Did my head in !!!!

'09 Creations

A few items I made for a lovely friend I had in a swap ....

2 Hooded lined polarfleece vests ( I chose buttons cause I haven't mastered zips for one but also I find my boys can dress themselves easier with buttons ! ).






Fabric baskets ... Always handy !



And last but not least a pair of fisherman pants in a khaki green linen with the coloured fabric as the waistband cause I think it makes them look gorgeous !!!
