Red Lentil Burgers/ Patties

This is just a rough recipe which I sorta throw together !

It's approximate ingredients so it's all trial & error really !

Approx. 1 small onion chopped ( bout a cup )
Approx. 1 cup grated carrot
Approx. 1 cup grated sweet potato or potato
1 cup cooked red lentils
1/2 cup of chickpeas
3 cloves garlic crushed ( 4tsp )
Some Orgran flour or breadcrumbs ( these are gluten free ) to bind
Whatever herbs you like cummin, coriander, parsley whatever your taste ... alot is all to whatever I have on hand or the boys like. Same with the vegies really a lot can be interchanged & even red capsicum comes out good in them.

Cook lentils as per packet instructions.
Then throw all ingredients besides flour/ breadcrumbs in a processor to blend or use a stick blender this may mean doing smaller batches then mix those in after to then make the patties.

Cook in a little oil & serve !

I think that's it LOL ! As I said I just throw in whatever & hope for the best !
